How to make Chicken Biryani

Chicken Biryani is a luscious delight known worldwide and loved by all. Beautiful combination of chicken layered with long grain basmati rice and then slow cooked (dum) to perfection. And some uniqueness in recipe can make biryani more delicious.
Step by step instructions:
Heat oil(1cup), add sliced onions (2medium size), cook until half golden color. Then add whole spice (zeera 1tsp, choti and bari elaichi 3-4, dar chen 2 sticksi, laung 3-4, badiyan ka phool 1 , kali mirch 1tsp, jaiphal powder 1/2 tsp) stirly fry. Add ginger garlic paste (2 tbs) & cook for 10-15 secs.
Add chicken (1 kg), fry until color change. Than add Turemic powder (1 tsp), coriander powder (1.5 tbs), red chili powder (1.5 tbs) and chili flakes (1 tbs). Now mix well & cook for 5 minutes. After that add sliced tomatoes (2 medium size) & cook for 2 miutes. Than add mint leafs & green chilis (as much you like). MIX MIX MIX
Cover & cook over low-medium flame until chicken is almost done. Than add boiled peeled potatoes (2 medium size cutted into pieces).
After all these steps add salt (1.5 tbs) & mix properl, add 1/2 cup of yogurt in it & stir. Cover for few minutes & cook over medium flame. Now chicken is done well, sprinkle whole spice powder (1/2 tbs) with some fresh sliced tomotes (5-6 slices), mint leafs, plum (5-6) and green chilis (6-7), cover the pot for 2 minutes. off the flame.
Biryani korma gravy is ready.
Bring another pot and add 4-5 cups of water in it. On the flame and add Whole spices (Tez patt, Dal cheni, badiyan ka phool, kali mirch, laung, zeera, elaichi) and salt ( 2-3 tbs) with some TBS of oil. Bring it a boil, then add soaked rice (3 cups). Cover until rice is 3/4 done. Drain the water and bring another big pot and make a thick layer of rice thn put chicken korma gravy layer and again rice layer over it. Add food color mixture with milk & Biryani essence, sprinkle some fried onions. Cover & cook over very low flame for almost 10-15 minutes.
